Wauseon Wahoo Dive Team Defeats Bryan

The Wauseon Indians dive team was victorious over Bryan on July 5th 92-25. The Indians had first place finishers in every age division. In 8 and under girls, Wauseon had a sweep with Sidney O’Dell in first followed by Kaelynn Hartsock in second, Halle Stevens was third, and Emma Burkholder placing fourth. Izzak Conrad finished first in the 8 and under boys followed by Troy Snyder of Bryan in second with Casen Hite and Lucas Biddle of Wauseon finishing in 3rd and 4th respectively. The 9-10 girls group was another sweep for the Indians has Alyssa Dasanti, Kali Albright, Alex Schultz, Carly Hite, and Elise Eberle took the top five spots in that order. The 9-10 boys division had Wauseon in the top three positions with Tristan Burkholder in first, Kyle Snow finishing second, and Nalu Neifer placing third. The 11-12 girls had Ashlynn Ledyard of Wauseon in first with Olivia Thomas of Bryan placing second.

In 11-12 boys, Kohen Nofziger of Wauseon was first while Bryan’s Hayden Barrow-Whetro was second. Bailey McGuire gave the Indians another first place finisher in 13-14 girls with Bryan getting a second place finish by Addison Oberlin in thatage group. For the 1314 boys, Carter Hite of Wauseon was first followed by three Golden Bears with Jonathon Porsten, Collin BarrowWhetro, and Aiden Andrews finishing second thru fourth in that order. Wauseon finished the meet by getting first place finishes by Elena Pratt in 15-16 girls, Alexys Carteaux in 1718 girls, and Tony Schweinhagen for the 17-18 boys division.
