The West Unity American Legion Riders Post 669 is organizing a memorial ride in honor of Michael Frybarger, a dedicated man who was responsible for the Wreaths Across America program in West Unity. The event, titled “Michael Frybarger Memorial Ride,” is scheduled for July 14th, 2024.

The ride will begin at the Williams County Veterans Services located at 1425 E High St. Bryan, Ohio 43506. Registration for the event will start at 12:00 pm, with the ride commencing at 1:00 pm and expected to return by 4:00 pm.

This event is a free will donation ride, and all proceeds collected in Mike’s name will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). This gesture is a testament to Mike’s dedication to supporting veterans and their families.

For more information about the event, interested parties can contact Director Bill Mann at 419-340-1185 or Assistant Director Ken Knaggs at 419-297-9664.

The flyer for the event features a picture of Michael Frybarger holding a sign with the AIG logo and the text “Wreaths Across America” on it, symbolizing his commitment to the program. There is also an image of a wreath with the American flag and a ribbon, along with the words “REMEMBER. HONOR. TEACH.” These words encapsulate the spirit of the Wreaths Across America program and Mike’s dedication to it.

At the bottom of the flyer, there is a graphic of the American Legion Riders emblem, which includes an eagle, the American flag, and the Legion Riders insignia, representing the unity and patriotism of the American Legion Riders.

The West Unity American Legion Riders Post 669 invites everyone to join them in this ride to remember and honor Michael Frybarger and his contributions to the community.
