West Unity now has recently welcomed a new business. Untangled Hair Salon, located at 603 W Jackson Street (behind Stanley’s Guns and Ammo), offers new customers a variety of services in a serene and relaxed atmosphere. Services include cuts, chemical services (color and highlights, perms, and relaxers), Malibu treatments and waxing. Retail products available at the salon include Redkin, SexyHairConcepts, and Matrix products. The Matrix Color Line is also used for all hair colorings.

Owner and cosmetologist Kathleen Stanley says that she is also looking to add a nail technician to the salon to increase the amount of services available at the salon. The nail technician would operate out of a booth rented from Stanley.
Stanley has four years of experience as a cosmetologist that includes having managed a Great Clips location in the Cleveland area and her Cosmetology License covers all aspects of the salon. Stanley, who strives to provide high quality service to her customers, is also very conscious of the comfort of her customers and has also worked to create the comfortable feeling of home within her salon.
Untangled Hair Salon celebrated its Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 10 but has been open for business since February 15 of this year. Since the ribbon cutting ceremony, Stanley has taken some time off to celebrate her recent wedding. The salon will re-open upon her return on April 30. When she returns Stanley will be offering a hair cut sale that runs from April 30 through May 4. All haircuts will be marked down $3 during that time.
