The Williams County Fairgrounds once again brought the entire community to Montpelier, this time for a very successful Mid-Winter Flea Market.
The market was extensive, with multiple buildings filled with vendors of all sorts. Not only were there smiles to go around from all of the fair board members present, proud to see the grounds they work to maintain in use for their community, but there was also all sorts of laughter and conversation echoing throughout the fairgrounds as people networked, engaged in commerce, and spent time together.
The event was reportedly a hit, with everyone coming out to see the vendors right as the doors opened. Many started to run out of stock by 11 a.m. on Saturday.

With the colder weather descending on us as the weekend hit, it’s no wonder why this mid-winter event was so popular.
The fairgrounds’ heated buildings and spacious amenities allow for the community to gather regardless of what Father Winter has to say about it, and it was great to see everyone able to come together -especially so comfortably in the middle of February.
There was a free-will donation breakfast and lunch happening both Saturday and Sunday, which quickly sold out.
Thankfully, the parking for the grounds is extensive because there were times throughout the weekend where it surely seemed like spaces would run out.
The 2024 Williams County Mid-Winter Flea Market can be marked down as a success, and it’s safe to say that those that made it out this year will surely be looking forward to doing the same in 2025.
