The Fountain City Pageant for 2023 was held on Saturday, May 20th at the Quality Inn Hotel in Montpelier. The pageant featured 14 contestants who competed in their own age groups to become Miss Bryan 2023.
To start the pageant the girls each walked out, waving and smiling to the crowd, before coming back out on stage later to introduce themselves and their sponsors.
All contestants were also featured in a summer wear competition and evening wear competition. Teen and Miss contestants were also judged on community concentration and Miss contestants performed a talent for the crowd.
Each of the contestants who competed in the event are as follows. Miss Contestant #1 Allyson Elaine Davis of the 9th grade. Miss Contestant #2 Halle Renee Six of the 10th grade. Teen Miss Contestant # 1 Kiara Star Marino of the 6th grade. Teen Miss Contestant #2 Lillian Evelyne Davis of the 6th grade. Teen Miss Contestant #3 Sonya Lee Stark of the 7th grade. Teen Miss Contestant #4 Payton Aline Geiner of the 7th grade.
Junior Miss Contestant #1 Kinlee Jean Yoder of the 4th grade. Junior Miss Contestant #2 Abigail Lee Stark of the 3rd grade. Junior Miss Contestant #3 Kenlee Rae Vansteenkiste of the 5th grade. Little Miss Contestant #1 Lorelei Ann Henricks who is in Kindergarten.
Little Miss Contestant #2 Josalynn Vivian Lovejoy of the 1st grade. Little Miss Contestant Arianah Lynne Shartzer of the 2nd grade. Little Miss Contestant #4 Liberty Lee Butler of the 1st grade. Little Miss Contestant #5 Sally Clementine Elzey of the 2nd grade.
During the award ceremony, previous 2022 Teen Miss Bryan Caylin Brenneman was crowned Ultimate Queen.
For the Little Miss competition. Sally Elzey was awarded the Little Miss Interview Award, Lorelei Henricks was awarded the Little Miss Photogenic Award and Little Miss Congeniality Award.
Sally Elzey was then named as the Little Miss Bryan 1st Runner-up. The crown for Little Miss Bryan was then won by Arianah Shartzer.
For the Junior Miss competition, Kinlee Yoder was awarded the Junior Miss Interview Award. Kenlee Vansteenkiste was awarded the Junior Miss Photogenic Award and Junior Miss Congeniality Award.
Kinlee Yoder was next named as the Junior Miss Bryan 1st Runner-up. The crown for Junior Miss Bryan was then won by Kenlee Vansteenkiste.
For the Teen Miss competition, Sonya Stark was awarded the Teen Miss Interview Award and Teen Miss Photogenic Award. Lillian Davis was awarded the Teen Miss Congeniality Award. Payton Geiner was then named the Teen Miss Bryan Runner-up. The crown for Teen Miss Bryan was then won by Sonya Stark.
For the Miss competition, Halle Six won the Miss Interview Award, Miss Photogenic Award, Miss Congeniality Award and Best Talent Award. Allyson Davis was then named as the Miss Bryan 1st Runner-up. The crown for Miss Bryan was then won by Halle Six.
Additional awards were also given out after each of the girls were crowned. Kiara Marino won the Directors Award, Kinlee Yoder won the 2023 Top Seller Award, and Lorelei Henricks won the People’s Choice Award.
Each of the girls that were crowned will have the opportunity to represent the City of Bryan in the Pride of Williams County Pageant in the Winter of 2024.
