Charles E. (Chuck) Peck, formerly of Bryan, passed away peacefully at home in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on June 21, 2019. He was born Charles Edward Peck on Feb. 15, 1939, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Chester W. and Martha J. Peck.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and married the former Mildred Ann Judy Adams on May 11, 1957. In 1964, the family moved to Bryan, Ohio, where he founded his own business, Chuck’s Trucking, of which he was a customer favorite, and remained with it until his retirement after selling the business. He was known as an extremely nice man who would help anyone any way he could.

He is survived by his children, Alan (Laura) Peck of Sherwood, Ohio, Debbie Rosebrock of Angola, Indiana, Bruce Peck of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Curtis Peck of Middletown, Ohio, and Norene Brown of Big Timber, Montana; sisters, Liz and Mary; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several foster children. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Chet; and a sister, Wilma.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Interment will be held at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Auburn.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that a donation be made to the kidney or dialysis organization of their choice in Charles’ name. Arrangements are by Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main St., Auburn.
