I always looked forward coming to work everyday at SKLD and my day really didn’t start until I was greeted by either a fist bump or handshake from Hobie. I loved working with Hobie but just talking with him on a daily basis was good too. He always spoke about his wife, his son Kenny, Montpelier school teachers/football and BUCKEYE FOOTBALL. He truly made an impact on all that worked around or worked him while at SKLD, he will be greatly missed and remembered.

We always looked for Hobie when we went to see Dad. He was always happy to see us. I always wore my Steelers top and he would say don’t you have a different shirt ? One day I received a Browns shirt and would wear that to Dads visits and his eyes would light up say Yea now you have a good shirt . We did not know him but he really touched out heart made us feel like we knew him a long time. I would play the harmonica he would say that’s really good. He will be missed
