William A. Stuckey, age 90, of rural Bryan, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at The Laurels in Defiance. Prior to his retirement he had been an Electrician for many years with the Toledo Electrical Union. He just received his 55 year pin from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Bill was born in West Unity, Ohio, on January 26, 1929, the son of Marlin and Consolo (Allison) Stuckey. On December 20, 1953, he married Jane Ann Ruffer, and she preceded him in death in 2012. He was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing and anything to do with guns. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He especially enjoyed competitively shooting trap and skeet.
Surviving are three daughters, Kim (Allan) Finley of Poway, CA, Dawn (Jon) Watts of Bradenton, FL, Jody (Dan) Glaser of Bryan; grandchildren, Brianna Finley, Kaelyn Finley, Logan Watts, Sam Watts, Brad Glaser, Hailey (Jeremy) Vent and Chelsey (William) Grennay; and great-grandchildren, Allison and Hudson Vent, and Nova, Bristol, Ayvie and Harlyn Grennay. He is also survived by brother, Darrell Stuckey of Lakeland, FL and Suzanne (Charles) Casey of Benton, IL. He was preceded in death both parents; wife, Jane; infant son, Douglas Allen Stuckey; and sister, Fontibel Stuckey.
Visitation for Bill will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 20, 2019, at the Grisier Funeral Home, 109 S. Defiance St., Stryker, Ohio. Burial will be private in the Pettisville Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.

I am so sad when I grow older an choose to get my children in the campground life during our family fun adventures it’s gone I’m so sad all my memories we shared at this campground with my family growing up. I wanted to share with my babies an let them experience what me an my family did growing up I will never forget the trails the putput the water slides the paddleboats fun in the barns with crafts an line dancing an all the being young snipe hunting boy the fun we had at woodland lakes I’d love to bring it back boy oh boy if they only knew the love an fun an family all the members shared an we all was one we had made a family being with familiar every summer faces coming back we all looked forward an worked hard making sure we earned our summer of fun when school let out. I would love to invest but growing up by the time I changed my life an got my finances together an I brought children I would have thought twice if it was to save this place I would have never gave up god please make a way an bring it back I would love to but I have no funds like this to buy that much but if i had a way I’d sure bring it back me an my man have 17 children an we ourselves would run the show an I’d die there if was my way.. anyway I just wanted to give a review I’d love to see back up an running because my family an every family should experience one time at the campground it’s an experience they would never forget I guess me growing up here I can only say but if words can Express it’s amazing an with the right love an heart it would definitly bring back alot of love an alot of families for sure generations I’ve watched I’m really sad that it’s gone an I will pray on a million to bring back my love an heart for these grounds
