GIRLS BOWLING

Wauseon 2188 Evergreen 1896

Jayde Ramos had games of 164 and 214 for a 378 series as Wauseon knocked off Evergreen 2,188-1,896. Quinlynn Rohda added a 205 in game two and finished with a 366 series. Keigan Shuster led Evergreen with the high game (171) and high series (313) for the Lady Vikings.

Patrick Henry 1992 Delta 1758

Sarah and Rachel Breece each fired a 338 series in the Patrick Henry win over Delta. Ciarra Flickinger rolled a 330 (178+152) to lead Delta.

Liberty Center 2172 Swanton 2002

Liberty Center won all three Baker Games (178-143, 208-145, 173-149) to close out the victory over Swanton. Ivy Serres had the high series for Swanton with a 345 (137+208) and Hanna Patch added a 333 (174+159).

Bryan 1930 Tinora 883

Bryan moved their record to 11-1 after the win over a short handed Tinora team. Gabriella Bany posted a 389 (184+205) for the high series in the match and Faith Harding had the high game with a 211 in game two.

BOYS BOWLING

Evergreen 2341 Wauseon 2036

David Fuller fired a 255, Ethan Shively added 244, and Derek Cobb tallied a 204 to give Evergreen a 1,010-773 lead after game one as they got the win over Wauseon. Fuller ended the night with the high series for the Vikings (449) while Shively had a 420 and Cobb totaled a 388.

Ryan Marks was high bowler for Wauseon with games of 180 and 176 for a 356 series.

Patrick Henry 2570 Delta 2178

Jaylin Drew had a 461 (247+214) and Tyler Piercefield added a 456 (209+247) to lead the Patriots past Delta 2,570-2,178. Gabe Syverson paced Delta with a 395 (149+246) and Brody Waugh scored a 343 (202+141).

Liberty Center 2501 Swanton 2025

Liberty Center had three bowlers with games of 200+ in game one in their win over Swanton. Marty Mosher had the high series for Swanton with a 353 (180+173).

Bryan 2218 Tinora 2125

Bryan had a slim 11 pin lead (1,683-1,672) entering the Baker Games where they pulled away by beating the Rams 535-453. Dominic Boothman totaled a 396 (163+233) for Bryan and Caleb Muhe had a 349 (202+147).

VARSITY

Montpelier 51 North Central 48

Montpelier had a 29-17 lead at halftime and then had to hold off a furious fourth quarter rally by the Lady Eagles to pull out the 51-48 win. North Central connected on five triples, three coming from Kendee Hollstein, in the final stanza to lead the comeback attempt. Ariel Page led Montpelier (12-1, 7-0 in BBC) with 15 points and Jessi Bumb had 11. North Central (7-6, 4-5) had three in double figures led by Madison Brown who had 19, Hollstein tallied 12, and Lauren Balser added 11.

Wauseon 52 Swanton 39

Sherwood Bank

Jonas Tester scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half as Wauseon defeated Swanton 52-39 in an NWOAL contest. Connar Penrod also had 17 for the Indians (12-2, 3-0 in NWOAL). Swanton (7-6, 2-1) was paced by 18 points from Andrew Thornton and Josh Vance added 12.

Bryan 65 Delta 40

AJ Martinez scored 18 points and Titus Rohrer added 15 to help Bryan (3-10, 1-2 in NWOAL) earn their first league victory of the season. Nick Mazurowski led the Delta (0-13, 0-3) attack with a game high 28 points.

Archbold 52 Liberty Center 48

MR Readymix

Archbold trailed 33-23 early in the third quarter but rallied and used a 17-10 fourth quarter to knock off the Tigers. Noah Gomez had 14 points for the Bluestreaks (11-3, 3-0 in NWOAL) and DJ Newman had 13.

Pettisville 58 North Central 38

Pettisville had a 24-13 rebounding advantage and shot 19/39 (49%) from the floor in a 58-38 win at North Central. Cayden Jacoby had 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Blackbirds (10-2, 8-0 in BBC) while Max Leppelmeier chipped in with 17. Zack Hayes dropped in 17 points for the Eagles (3-8, 3-3).

Stryker 37 Edon 29

Best Insurance

Stryker went 7/13 at free throw line to pull away for a 37-29 win at Edon. Spencer Clingaman led the Panthers (5-7, 4-4 in BBC) with 11 points on the night, six points in the fourth quarter. Drew Gallehue had 12 points for the Bombers (3-4, 3-3).

Continental 58 Montpelier 47

Continental’s Mitchell Coleman drained seven treys and poured in 40 pirates to lead the Pirates past Montpelier 58-47. Tylor Yahraus had 11 field goals and finished with 28 points for Montpelier (6-5).

Wayne Trace 50 Edgerton 41

Kamco

The Raiders (11-3, 3-1 in GMC) outscored Edgerton 17-5 in the second quarter to take a 27-14 lead at halftime on their way to a 50-41 GMC win. Noah Landel scored 14 points to lead the Edgerton (5-5, 2-2) effort.
