FULTON COUNTY PROSECUTOR
The following individuals were sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman.

•Alan M. Shelor, age 22, of Toledoo, Ohio, previously pled guilty to Breaking and Entering, Grand Theft, Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft, Theft From a Person in a Protected Class,and Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott Haselman, Mr. Shelor trespassed in an unoccupied structure and stole a firearm, a motor vehicle, and credit cards. He also participated in the affairs of an enterprise through a pattern of corrupt activity.

Judge Jeffrey Robinson sentenced Mr. Shelor to serve a minimum of 70 months to a maximum of 88 monthsiIn prison. He ordered Mr. Shelor to pay all prosecution costs and restitution totaling $5,522 to six individuals. He received credit for 205 days in jail.

•James Brown, 36, of 2278 St. Rt. 15 of Ney, Ohio, previously pleaded guilty to Attempted Failure to Comply With Order or Signal of Police Officer. He attempted to elude or flee police in a vehicle after receiving a visible or audible signal to stop.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Brown to 2 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol, continue treatment with Maumee Valley Guidance Center and successfully complete all treatment and any recommended aftercare, serve 5 days in CCNO, with credit for days already served, and suspended his driver’s license for 3 years, with driving privileges.

Failure to comply could result in Mr. Brown spending 11 months in prison.

•Hillary Windham, Jr., 46, of Lamar, South Carolina, plead guilty to Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Possession of Cocaine. He operated a motor vehicle while Intoxicated, and he possessed Cocaine.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Windham to 2 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, pay a $375 fine, suspended his driver’s license for 1 year, successfully complete drug treatment, and any recommended aftercare, and serve 19 days in CCNO, with credit for days already served.

Failure to comply could result in Mr. Windham spending 10 months in prison.

•David Tressler, III, 38, of 7950 Co. Rd. 8, previously pleaded guilty to Burglary. He did knowingly, by force, stealth, or deception, trespass in an occupied structure with the purpose to commit a criminal offense.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Tressler to 24 months in prison and ordered him to pay prosecution costs.

•Zachary McCauge, 28, of 1285 N. Shoop Ave., Lot 2 in Wauseon, previously pleaded guilty to Failure to Comply With Order or Signal of a Police Officer. He willfully tried to elude or flee police in a vehicle after receiving a visible or audible signal to stop, which caused a substantial risk of serious physical harm to persons or property.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. McCauge to 18 months in prison and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, and he suspended his driver’s license for 3 years.

•David Ostrander, 44, of Toledo, previously pleaded guilty to Theft From a Person in a Protected Class. He stole a cell phone from an elderly person.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Ostrander to 3 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs and court appolnted attorney fees, have no contact with the victim, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol, complete a dual diagnosis with Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio, and complete any recommendations and any aftercare.

Failure to comply could result In Mr. Ostrander spending 11 months in prison.
