Lloyd F. Bowman, 55, of West Unity passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in his residence with his family by his side. Lloyd was born April 18, 1966, in Montpelier, Ohio, son of Lloyd W. and Joline A. (Shaffer) Bowman.
He was a 1985 graduate of West Unity High School. Lloyd married Susan Marie Hartman on October 28, 2006, at the West Unity Methodist Church. He owned and operated the family farm, including dairy and farming operations.
Lloyd was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Stryker. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. He especially enjoyed spending time around the dinner table eating and visiting with family. When he was not working on the farm, he often could be found at local auctions.
Surviving is his wife, Susan Bowman of West Unity; four children, Flint Andrew, Kelly Ann, Lyle Jacob, and Miya Marie Bowman all of West Unity; mother, Joline A. Bowman of West Unity; five sisters, Jane (Ervin Fender) Fry of Auburn, Indiana, Linda (Dana) Smith of Bryan, Ohio, Beth (Alan) Surfus of Markle, Indiana, Sandy Bowman of Bryan, Ohio, and Annette (Ron) Zaper of Whitehouse, Ohio.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd W. Bowman; two sisters, Susan Bowman and Carolyn Wolf.
Visitation for Lloyd will be held Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 3:00 -8:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 4524 County Road 20.50, Stryker, Ohio 43557. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the church with his father-in-law, Pastor Mike Hartman officiating. Interment will take place at West Franklin Cemetery, Fayette.
Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity, Ohio.
