Pollyanna Finnegan, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on June 12, 2021, in her home surrounded by her family. Pollyanna was a graduate of Lansing Sexton High School, Lansing, Michigan, and previously attended Clearlake Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, and cooking in her spare time.
Pollyanna was born on July 25, 1939, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Arlene (Kramer) Balmer. She married Thomas H. Finnegan on October 18, 1969, and he precedes her in death.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Michelle) Switzer, of Montpelier, Ohio; granddaughter, Trisha M. Switzer, of Albion, Michigan; two great grandchildren, Damon Shaffer and Elizabeth Maples; two sisters, Nancy Balmer, and Linda Thompson; two nieces, Kathy O’Shea and Liz O’Shea. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier, with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with her services.
