Montpelier dropped to 9-11 on the season after a 4-25, 17-25, 19-25 loss to Hicksville. Cadey Hillard registered 21 digs for Montpelier and Kelsie Bumb had 10 assists.
Wauseon 3 Hilltop 2
Hilltop won the first two sets 25-15, 25-20 but Wauseon (14-6) stormed back to take the last three 25-14, 25-17, 16-14 to win a five-set thriller. Hilltop (15-5) was paced by Ray Saunders (18/18 serving, 10 points, 11 digs), Jayma Bailey (15 digs, 7 kills), Kacy Connolly (16/16 serving with 9 points, 105/107 setting with 33 assists), and Gabby Rodriguez (45/50 hitting, 15 kills).
Pettisville 3 Delta 2
The Blackbirds dug out of a 2-1 hole by capturing the last two sets to pick-up a 25-19, 16-25, 19-25, 25-113, 15-6 non-league win. Paris Coopshaw tallied 20 digs to lead Pettisville (6-14), Leah Beck had 20 assists, and Liz Rochefort added 20 kills.
Evergreen 3 Cardinal Stritch 1
Nicole Johnson slammed 16 kills and added 18 digs for the Vikings in a 25-15, 22-25, 25-9, 25-17 win over Cardinal Stritch. Marissa Vandenk topped Evergreen (7-13) in digs with 22 and was 25/27 in serve receiving while Lydia Valentine dished out 22 assists.
Ayersville 3 Stryker 0
Sage Woolace had 20 digs for Stryker as they fell to Ayersville 21-25, 16-25, 14-25 in non-league volleyball. Mallori Blevins added seven kills on 19/22 hitting for the Panthers (7-13).
