Edward Wayne Posner, age 73, of Jasper Michigan. Born September 27th, 1949, in Wauseon, Ohio.
Ed passed away December 13, 2022, at Toledo Hospital unexpectedly, but peacefully.
Ed farmed for over 50 years and retired in 2000. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Tigers and Westerns. He loved playing solitaire and listening to the Oldies.
For Ed, family came first. He had a heart of gold. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone.
His kind soul donated his body to the UTMC medical school with hopes that others could be cured.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Shana (Bill) and Krystal (Adam); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald; brother-in-law, Herb; sister-in-law, Nora; many nieces and a nephew; and his good friend, Chris.
Edward was proceeded in death by his loving son, Jeremy Randall; sister, Mary Jane; brother, Jerald; his parents; stepfather, Floyd Knisel and Crazy Steiner.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 28th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Catholic War Veterans Hall in Assumption.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Lenawee County or to donor’s choice.
