GIRLS BASKETBALL

Edgerton 43 Fayette 24

EDGERTON – The homestanding Bulldogs (5-16) dominated the first three quarters in building a 38-13 lead to take down the Eagles 43-24.

Noelle Ritter led a balanced scoring attack for Edgerton with nine points and Taylor Smith had eight.

Nevaeh Powers and Kelsie Storrs topped Fayette (2-19) with seven apiece.

ANTWERP – Hilltop sprinted to a 16-9 lead after one quarter and gradually pulled away for the 47-32 victory at Antwerp (12-9).

Libbie Baker was the catalyst for the Cadets (16-5) with nine field goals and four three throws for 22 points.

HICKSVILLE – Isabelle Burnett knocked down six treys and poured in 32 points to lead the Eagles (3-17) to a win at Hicksville.

Lindsay Bergman fronted the Aces (3-18) effort with 16.

Delta 40 Swanton 38

DELTA – After trailing 37-30 in the fourth quarter, Delta (10-11) ended the game with a 10-3 run to overtake Swanton for a 40-38 non-league win.

Khloe Weber and Grace Munger each had 11 points for the Panthers, including combining for eight points during Delta’s fourth quarter comeback.

Swanton (10-11) was led by 15 points from Emma Crow and Alaina Pelland had 11.

SWANTON (38) – Crow 15; Floyd 4; Yeager 3; Manning 5; Pelland 11. Totals 16-2-38.

DELTA (40) – Weber 11; Munger 11; Burres 7; Friess 3; Sprow 4; Smith 4. Totals 15-7-40.

Ottawa-Glandorf 59 Archbold 22

OTTAWA – It was all Titans (18-3) from start to finish as they led 35-5 at halftime and forced 29 turnovers by the Bluestreaks (9-12) in cruising to a 59-22 win.

Alanna Pedraza had two field goals and four points to front Archbold.

PIONEER – The Hawks (10-10) led 31-23 at halftime and then held off a North Central (8-11) rally in the second half to escape with a 55-54 win.

Joey Burt dropped a game-high 25 points for North Central and Gage Kidston netted 13.
