Sharon L. Buehrer, 82, of Alvordton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Bryan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Bryan, Ohio with her son by her side.
Sharon was born July 17, 1940, in Henry County, Ohio, daughter of the late Herbert and Elsie (Winzeler) Mull. She graduated from Ridgeville, High School in 1958.
Sharon married James L. Buehrer January 20, 1963, in Archbold, Ohio and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2017.
Sharon was a member of Stryker United Brethren Church in Stryker, Ohio, where she was active in the Women’s Group.
She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, flower gardening, most importantly putting others before herself and sharing her love.
Surviving is her son, Stephen M. Buehrer of Alvordton, Ohio. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; Husband James Buehrer; Son, Michael Buehrer; Sister, Judy Mull
Visitation for Sharon will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023. From 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity, Ohio. Private family burial will take place at West Franklin Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Stryker United Brethren Church, 104 East Church Street, Stryker, Ohio, with Pastor Nick Woodall officiating.
