Diana Potter (1964-2023)

Diana L. Potter, age 58, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, peacefully at her home.

Diana was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She took great pride in her grandchildren and spoiled them any chance she could get.

Diana had an excellent work ethic and was most recently employed as a press operator at Winzeler Stamping.

Diana loved and was a collector of lighthouses, bird houses, windchimes, and all things red, white and blue.


She enjoyed reading, playing Candy Crush, and spending as much time with family as she could. She will be dearly missed by all that had the privilege of meeting her.

Diana was born on December 7, 1964, in London, Ohio, the daughter of Mary Caldwell She married James E. Potter on July 7, 2007 in Montpelier and he survives.

Diana is also survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Derek) Bell, of Bryan, Joyce (Duane) Paul, of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Yolanda (Martin) Benavidez, of Pensacola, Florida; stepson, Dusty (Santanna Terrill) Potter, of Montpelier; 12 grandchildren, Will, Sylvia, Ashton, Alivia, Austin, Shane, Brooklynn, Ella, Aiden, Hunter, Holden and Paisley; a best friend and sister by choice, Karen Potter (Vic), of Bryan, brothers, Donnie (Lisa) Wilson, of Columbus, Ohio, Kenny Burgett, of South Shore, Kentucky, Bryan Burgett (Heidi), of 29 Psalms, California; sisters, Cathryn Cox, of West Jefferson, Ohio and Joyce (Ralph) Stout, of Sparta, Tennessee; brothers-in-law, Mike Lands, of Farmer an Denzil Burgett, of South Shores, Kentucky and sister-in-law, Drema Wilson, of Montpelier.


She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Wilson; brothers, Kenny Wilson, Roger Wilson; sisters, Rose Lands and Tina Burgett and brother-in-law, Charlie Cox.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will be held immediately following with Pastor Mary Jo Caldwell officiating.
