Rachel Froelich, MSN, RN, Executive Director for the Bryan Area Health Education Center (BAHEC), has announced that she is now accepting applications for the annual BAHEC scholarship.

Under the direction of The University of Toledo College of Medicine, BAHEC coordinates the education of medical and allied health students in a five county area.

The scholarship (minimum of $1000) is available to full time students who are residents or natives of Williams County.

Students must be accepted or enrolled full time in graduate-level (master’s degree or higher) course work in an accredited program of study in a health care field.

Students may apply annually.  Scholarship awards will be based on academic performance, experience in the health care field, and financial need.

Since the inception of the BAHEC Scholarship in 1995, they have awarded more than 100 scholarships totaling more than $172,500 to students in Williams County preparing for advanced degrees in health care.

Applications may be obtained from the BAHEC office at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, 433 West High Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506; telephone 419-630-2106; or e-mail bahec@chwchospital.org.

The deadline for submitting the application is May 26, 2023.
