Jack McGlamery (1945 – 2023)

 (Retired From Sauder Woodworking In Archbold)

Jack L. McGlamery, age 77, of Wauseon, passed away on Sunday evening, July 16, 2023 in Delta, Ohio.

Prior to his retirement he had worked in construction for years for S.E. Johnson and then retired after working at Sauder Woodworking in Archbold for 26 years.

Jack was born in Harlan, Kentucky on November 8, 1945 the son of Virgil O. and Eva F. (Shackleford) McGlamery.


He is survived by four children, Jeff (Renee) McGlamery of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Mike (Kim) McGlamery of Wauseon, Jennifer (Tom) Baker of Delta, and Mary Sue Schlosser of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Also surviving is his girl Lotte Bettinger; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James (Sydney) McGlamery of Cleveland, Ohio and Joe (Beverly) McGlamery, also of Cleveland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Virgil McGlamery, Jr.

Jack’s passion was restoring old cars.

Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
