Teresa Jo O’Neal, 55, of West Unity and formerly of Montpelier passed away Tuesday at her home. She was born on October 3, 1959 in Montpelier to Ernest Lavon and Viola Marie (Price) Tressler. Teresa graduated from Montpelier High School.
Teresa was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included bowling and garage sales. She served as a Lab Technician at the Bryan hospital, Medical assistant with Dr. Vasi in Edon, and as a human resource manager of Walmart in Bryan.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Lee O’Neal of Edon, and Randy Lee O’Neal of Montpelier; three grandchildren, Brenleigh Jilliann O’Neal (Michael Lee O’Neal) Tyrone Jacob O’Neal and Atreyo Rayman O’Neal (Randy Lee O’Neal) ; one brother, Lavern “Bernie” (Karen) Tressler of Montpelier; three sisters, Sandra Church of Bryan, Sharon (“Ike”) Marihugh of Montpelier and Linda (Michael) Gray of Montpelier; and good friend Ronald Lee O’Neal, who she was married to for 27 years.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Teresa will be on Monday, May 11th from 4-8pm at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier. Services will be on Tuesday at11am at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Carlin to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
