Eva Ann Skerik, 90, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on October 28, 2023 in Colorado Springs. She was born on August 17, 1933 in Putman County, Ohio to Gilbert and Beulah (Snyder) Parent.
Eva achieved her Bachelor’s Degree and worked as a Registered Nurse for 33 years. She worked for 23 years as an RN at Williams County General Hospital in Montpelier and for 10 years she worked at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colorado.
Eva is survived by her two children, Jim (Bernadette) Lyon of Conway, South Carolina and Jackie (Walter) Bell of Perrysburg, Ohio and one sister, Ruth Ives of Haines City, Florida. She was also blessed with 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael R. Skerik; son, Dana E. Day; one sister, Ruby L. Parent; and one brother, Charles Parent.
Eva will be laid to rest in a graveside service on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 10:00 am at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer, Ohio.
