Debra Jean Mundy, age 69, passed away under hospice care at her Wauseon home on Friday morning, December 8, 2023, with her family by her bedside.
She was born on January 21, 1954 to the late William Clifford Price and Mary Jane (Currie) Price. Debra would marry Doug Wendel and would remain married until a workplace accident took Doug’s life in 1988.
She would make it her life’s work to be a stay-at-home mother and homemaker. Debra was blessed with three children who survive; Shane Mundy of New York, Shawnette Beeching of New York, and Fawn Routson, along with Fawn’s Partner Xerxies Yascolt of Wauseon.
In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, watching game shows on TV, and always kept up with her soap, The Young and The Restless.
Debra enjoyed music, always listening to her favorites; Patsy Cline, Elvis, Buddy Holly and the Animals.
Also surviving Debra is her brother, Micheal Price of New York, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Price.
There will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, those wishing a show of sympathy may make a memorial contribution to the family, care of Fawn Routson. Cremation will be trusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.
