Beverly Jean Buchanan Ruffer (Nana) of Archbold, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 27th at Genacross Lutheran Home in Napoleon-Hospice.
Beverly was born on December 10, 1941 in Bryan, Ohio to Alice and Warren Buchanan.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Wendi and Wendell Wilson, sisters Sandy and Toby Gorny, Connie and Larry Baughman, brother Michael and Karen Buchanan and grandkids Shannon and Angela Wilson, Lindsy and Travis Wyse, Jenale and Brandon Fry, Cody and Bridget Ruffer and Stetson and Taylor Wilson and lots of great grandchildren she adored.
She is predeceased by her mother and father Alice and Warren Buchanan, her son Derrick Ruffer and grandma Garber.
Beverly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. You could always find her soaking up the sunshine with a good book and her favorite Hollywood sunglasses on.
She liked playing cards and bingo in her free time and doing crafts. She was always a social butterfly that could put a smile on anyone’s face.
2 Timothy 6-7 “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
A Celebration of life will be held at Pettisville Missionary Church in Pettisville, Ohio on March 9th 2024 from 10-2 for family and friends to gather and share memories. The family would love for you to wear colors as Bev enjoyed the colorful things in life.
