Ricky R. Riegsecker, age 68, of Delta, with his loving family by his side, peacefully passed away early Thursday morning, May 16, 2024 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice in Defiance.
He was born in Wauseon on April 15, 1956 to the late Maynard W. Riegsecker and Maxine (Rupp) Riegsecker – Johnson. Ricky graduated from Woodrow Wilson Military School in Xenia, OH.
On July 29, 1978, he married Cindy Brinkman and together were blessed with three daughters Crystal, Cassandra and Chastity.
For over 27 years, Ricky served as a printer with Inco Graphics in Mason, MI. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and being a jokester.
Ricky was a gifted musician and enjoyed playing guitar, singing and being a song writer. He also had a love for his dogs and was known around home as “The Dog Whisperer”.
Ricky is survived by Cindy Riegsecker; daughters, Crystal (Zack) Chrisman of Texas, Cassandra (Adam) O’Dell of Tennessee and Chastity Riegsecker of Delta; brothers, Larry Riegsecker and Roger (Tracey) Johnson; sisters, Paulette Quaintance, Anita Hodge and Dawn Stillwell; grandchildren, Alex and Caleb O’Dell, Sebastian and Hunter Adleman, Logan Riegsecker and Ricky R. Riegsecker II.
Friends will be received from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St Hwy 109, Delta, Ohio 43515 with a memorial service honoring Ricky’s life beginning at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, also at the funeral home. Pastor Maryann Reimund will be officiating.
