Dolores Kerr (1934 – 2024)

(Active With Stryker United Methodist Church)

Dolores E. Kerr, age of Bryan, Ohio formerly of Stryker, Ohio passed away Friday, July 19, 2024. Dolores was born March 15, 1934 in Williams County, Ohio to the late Kenneth K. and Erdine (Burgbacher) Kosier.

She married John A. Kerr and he preceded her in death in 1981. Dolores was a wonderful cook for many years in area restaurants and enjoyed baking and gardening.

She was very active with the Stryker United Methodist Church in various church capacities including funeral meals. Dolores loved her sports and was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds.


She was instrumental for many years with the Stryker Blood Mobile. Above all else, Dolores loved her family and was the #1 sports fan attending the grandkids and great-grandkids sporting events and activities.

Survivors include her children, John, David (Martha), and Stella Kerr, her grandchildren, Heather Kerr, Andy Kerr, Aaron Kerr, Chad Kerr, Summer Kerr, her great-grandchildren, Adysen, Jeter, Kailea, Sophia, Kaitlin, Kyrin, Jordyn, Gunner, Jade, Kaidyn, Lyrik, Rylan, Riley, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter-in-law, Pam Kerr, and her brothers, Gene, Gary, and Barton Kosier.


Friends may call for a time of visitation with the Kerr Family on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Stryker United Methodist Church, Stryker, Ohio. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Stryker United Methodist Church. Pastor Nick Woodall and Pastor Nico Kinner will officiate. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery. Funeral luncheon will be served following the interment at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Humane Ft. Wayne. Funeral arrangements entrusted to: Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio.
