(Member Of The Fraternal Order Of Eagles)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deana Rowland, who left this world on January 16, 2025, at her secondary residence in Evansport, Ohio. Deana was born on May 27, 1958, in Boulder, Colorado.
Deana received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Tri-State University. Over the years, she devoted herself not only to her education but also to nurturing and uplifting those around her.
As a longtime member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles and The Loyal Order of Moose, she cherished the friendships and community bonds formed through these organizations.
An avid bow hunter, Deana achieved remarkable feats in the field, harvesting multiple bucks over 140 inches. Her adventurous spirit led her to enjoy exciting vacations with her family in beautiful locations such as Maui and Cancun, and she treasured the peacefulness of walleye fishing in Northern Canada.
However, above all her accomplishments and passions, Deana’s heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passionately ensuring the happiness of her loved ones.
Deana is survived by her husband, Doug Rowland, and her three cherished sons, Shawn and Danielle Beals, who together gifted her the joy of grandson Sorin and granddaughter Addison; William Kidston and Ashley Maugherman, whose son, Noah, filled her heart with pride; and Craig and Molly Kidston, who brought her life granddaughter Chyler and grandson Macauley. She is also survived by her sisters and brother, Roxanna, Eddie, Kimberlee, Robbin, Cherie and Gigi. Deana leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work that will forever resonate within her family. Preceding her in death was her mother, Gail Beals.
Her strength and resilience in facing life’s challenges were sources of inspiration to all who knew her. She was a guiding light to her family, always striving to give her children the world, and her love extended unconditionally to her grandchildren.
Deana’s funeral service will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506. Deana’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed.
