(Liberty Center Resident)
Ashley Nicole Windle, 41, of Liberty Center, danced her way into the stars on June 30, 2025. Her wild, beautiful heart was simply too big for this world.
Ashley was a true free spirit—a vibrant soul who loved deeply, gave without hesitation, and lived with fearless authenticity.
She was a treasured daughter, beloved sister, and the proudest “Aunt Ash” you could ever meet. Her most cherished title was ‘dog mom’ to Max and Lacey, who weren’t just pets—they were her children, her comfort, her home.
She didn’t just walk through life—she wandered, explored, and felt every bit of it, always ready to give the shirt off her back, a crystal from her pocket, or the warmest hug you didn’t know you needed. Her love was a kind of magic, leaving gentle fingerprints on the hearts of all who knew her.
Ashley expressed herself in countless ways, but music and creativity were the heart of her being—flowing through her art, her crafts, and those wild, spontaneous moments when she’d sing and dance with abandon.
Her jam sessions with nieces and nephews were legendary—full of laughter, silliness, and soul—turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. She lived in tune with something bigger—and her presence was like standing barefoot in the grass under a sky full of stars—peaceful, real, and impossible to forget.
Ashley is deeply loved and profoundly missed by her mother, Theresa Eitzman, and stepfather, Greg (Binxsy) Eitzman; her father, Terry (Lori) Sager; her siblings Melissa (Tyler) Saneholtz, Amanda (Sean) Null, Ryan (Jenna) Sager, and Kristin (Joe) McMullen, Tarrin (Augie) Augustine, Tye Eitzman; nineteen adoring nieces and nephews; her husband, Mike Windle; sisters-in-law Julie and Amber Windle; mother-in-law Penelope Windle; and a niece and nephew from Mike’s side who held a special place in her heart.
Now reunited with loved ones who went before her, she is undoubtedly sharing laughter and peace on the other side.
Ashley’s laugh, her untamed light, her fierce love—they were gifts. And those gifts remain. She is stardust now, but her spirit lingers in every song, every sunset, every whisper of wind through the trees.
“Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch.”
Visitation for Ashley will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, where a Celebration of Ashley’s Life will immediately follow.
