Nicholas Allen Bomar, age 26, recently a longtime resident of Delta, Ohio, passed away at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born in Toledo on March 23, 1999, to the late Christopher Allen Bomar and Tamara Lee (McGovern) Bomar.
Nick was a 2017 graduate of Delta High School. For the past several years, he served as an EVS Technician at Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, where he was known for his quiet dedication and strong work ethic.
A homebody by nature, Nick enjoyed playing video games, cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes, and watching movies, especially horror and action films.
He found comfort in the simple things and treasured time spent with family, friends, and his beloved canine companion, “Peanut.”
Nick is survived by his brothers, Dustin (Alexis) Bomar of Jefferson City, Tennessee and Christopher (Claire) Bomar of Wauseon; nieces, Isla and Delaney Bomar; nephew, Lincoln Bomar; his faithful dog, “Peanut”; and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher Allen Bomar on Dec. 12, 2015, and Tamara Lee Bomar on Dec. 27, 2013; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Regina Bomar; and maternal grandparents, Russell and Brenda McGovern.
Friends and family may gather for a time of visiting from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 State Highway 109, Delta, Ohio. Interment will be private for the family at Shiloh Cemetery in Delta.
