Roger Lawrence (1941-2012)

Roger Lawrence Huber, 71, of Loudonville Ohio, formerly of Montpelier died Saturday December 15th at his home. He was born on October 11, 1941 in Wauseon to Lawrence and Bessie (Calvin) Huber. Roger graduated from Montpelier High School in 1959. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Roger was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, American Legion of Montpelier and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Roger is survived by his caretaker of the last 21 ½ years Patty and Terry Thatcher of Loudonville Ohio and by several local cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Bessie Huber.


Graveside services for Roger will be Tuesday December 18th at 1pm at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier with Reverend Bruce A. Tumblin to officiate. Military graveside rites will be provided by the Montpelier Veterans. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier. Online condolences can be made at www.wilsongeeseyfuneralhome.com
