Mary Jane Schrock, age 80, of Wauseon passed away Wednesday December 16, 2015 in her home after a lengthy illness. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a Registered Nurse at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon for more than 20 years having earned her Bachelors of Arts in Nursing and her Masters Degree in Counseling.
Mrs. Schrock was born on July 17, 1935 the daughter of the late Fred Jacob and the late Margaret Eva (Hook) Ehrat in Wauseon. On September 21, 1984 she married William Arthur Schrock and he survives. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Wauseon. Mrs. Schrock enjoyed travel, her home on Wampler’s Lake, wintering in Florida, collecting angels, antiquing and spending time with family.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons; Michael (Beth) Trudel of Neshkoro, Wisconsin, Stephen (Valerie) Trudel of Wauseon, two daughters; Beth Trudel of Fort Wayne, IN, Karen Guanci of Wauseon, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two step-sons; Tim Schrock of Gibsonia, PA, Bill (Linda) Schrock of Boulder City, NV, and step-daughter Sarah (Hal) Brehm of Delta and sister Margaret Bonar of Wauseon. Preceding her in death besides her parents was infant son Thomas Trudel.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Community Health Professionals Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
