Carolyn Lee Sanders (1932-2013)

Carolyn Lee Sanders, 80, a lifelong resident of Montpelier died Friday afternoon at the Community Hospital and Wellness Center in Bryan. She was born on April 20, 1932 in Montpelier to Paul Henry and Faye (Cramer) Snyder. Carolyn graduated from Montpelier High School in 1950.

Carolyn was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Montpelier. She enjoyed watching sporting events of kids and grandkids. Carolyn also loved watching NASCAR races and her favorite driver Jeff Gordon.

She is survived by three sons Stephen (Diann) Sanders of Montpelier, Michael (Pamela) Sanders of Millbury Ohio, and Tim (Lisa) Sanders of Montpelier, eight grandchildren Stephen (Gail) Sanders II, Trischia Sanders, Michael Sanders II, Kevin (Eryn) Sanders, Krista Sanders, Timothy Sanders II, Josef Sanders and Tanner Sanders, three great grandchildren Kiah Sanders, Tyler and Grace McDaniel, sister Norma Jean Casper of Montpelier and many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister Joann Bunce.

Visitation for Carolyn will be Tuesday, January 29th from 1-5:30pm at the Wilson Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier. Services will follow at 5:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor John Rumple to officiate. Interment will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
