Jack C. Planson, age 54, of Stryker, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Defiance Area Hospice. He had worked at Sauder Woodworking in Archbold for the past 33 years.
Jack was born in Montpelier on April 15, 1958, the son of Russell and Phyllis (Chandler) Planson. Surviving are sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Peter Gentit of Stryker, sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Dean Gentit of Sherwood; nieces, Dawn (Ray) Meiers, Beth (Tim) Morr, Lisa Gentit, Kathy Cada, and Sarah Schlosser; nephews, Michael (Serena) Schlosser, Chris (Kim) Gentit and Ben Gentit; three great-nieces, Madison and Skyler Gentit and Kennedy Morr; and two great-nephews, Jacob and William Meiers. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nancy Schlosser.
It was Jack’s wishes not to have any visitation or funeral services. The family is honoring his request. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties, Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
