Joanne Seidel White, 81 formerly of Pioneer died Sunday February 24 at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier. She was born on November 8, 1931 in Mansfield Ohio to Robert and Sylvia (Munsell) Seidel. Joanne graduated from Hudson Michigan High School in 1949. She attended Grand Rapids College of Bible and Music. Joanne’s husband Paul R. White passed away January 24, 2011.
Joanne attended Lake View United Brethren in Christ Church of rural Camden Michigan. Joanne worked at Hudson State Savings Bank in Hudson Michigan and also at the Farm Bureau in Hillsdale Michigan.
Joanne is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law Betty Eidenier of Waldron Michigan, and brother-in-law Ed Potter of Hudson Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Sylvia, husband Paul and sister Kathleen Potter.
Funeral services for Joanne will be Friday March 1st at 1:30pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer Ohio with Pastor Stephen Smith to officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 12 noon until time of service at 1:30pm. A private interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hillsdale County Michigan. Donations may be made to donor’s choice.
