Betty J. Repp, 86 years, of Montpelier, passed away Monday afternoon, November 28, 2016, in her residence, with her family at her side. Betty was born September 20, 1930 in Cecil, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Barker) Ensman. She married Paul Repp on June 26, 1948 in Bryan, and he preceded her in death on October 27, 1972.
Betty was a machine operator for Strydel Inc., in Stryker for 21 1/2 years, retiring in June of 1991. She was a member of the Montpelier Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Betty had many interest, including reading, putting together jigsaw puzzles and making crafts, sewing and other forms of needlework. She deeply treasured the time she spent with her family.
Surviving are her five children, Karen (Larry) Andrews of Benson, Arizona, Don (Darlene) Repp of Bryan, Linda (Tim) Impton of Benson, Arizona, Mike (Terry) Repp of Montpelier and Greg (Shelley) Repp also of Montpelier; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Ann Schindler of Ney, Cathy Warner, Irene (Robert) Kemp and Josephine Stratton all of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; one granddaughter, Julia Repp; great-grandson, Brenden Wiyrick; two brothers, Charles and Claude Ensman and one sister, Marie Stantz.
Visitation for Betty J. Repp will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 from 4:00– 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home – Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. Funeral services for Betty will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Harris and Pastor Don Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier.
