Joan Grace (Fraker) Kuntz, age 89, born in Fulton County and remaining a life-long resident in the Delta area passed away early Monday morning, September 11, 2017 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon.
She was a loving wife and mother, talented seamstress and gardener. She was also a member of the Delta Church of Christ.
Born January 31, 1928, Joan was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Grace (VanAman) Fraker. She was a 1946 graduate of Delta High School.
Joan married Edward Kuntz Jr. on January 8, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2003.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, had many hobbies and in her spare time liked to read and try out new recipes.
Surviving Joan and the late Edward Kuntz Jr. are their two children, Rodney Warren (Janet) Kuntz; daughter, Colleen Jean Thompson; grandchildren, Lisa (Patrick) Miller, Ian Kuntz, Julie (Rich) Bame, Joel (Jennifer) Thompson, Justin (Traci) Thompson, Jessica J. Thompson; great grandchildren, Alaeni Miller, Lindsay Miller, Marin Miller, Natalie Kuntz, Miles Kuntz, Grace Bame, Corrine Bame, Claire Bame, Kaylie Thompson, Madison Thompson and Harper Thompson.
In addition to her husband, Edward Kuntz, she was preceded in death by her sister, Herma Jane Hunt; brothers, Andrew “Jack” Fraker and Fred Carlton Fraker; daughter-in-law, Emily J. (Thompson) Kuntz and granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Kuntz.
