A Delta, Ohio man plead guilty and was sentenced on February 13th, 2018 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court.

Nicholas J. Spangler, age 20, pled guilty to Attempted Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle.

According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott Haselman, on or about November 11, 2017, Mr. Spangler attempted to transport a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle.

Judge Jeffrey Robinson sentenced Mr. Spangler to one year of community control. He ordered Mr. Spangler to serve seven days in CCNO with credit for time served; pay prosecution costs and court-appointed attorney fees, and not possess firearms. Three long guns and ammunition shall be forfeited to the State.

Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Mr. Spangler serving six months in prison.
