Alonson Crandall “Lon” Hall, Jr., age 84, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, in his home. Prior to his retirement in 1999, he had worked at the former Peterson Engineering Company in Toledo, for over 35 years.
Lon was born in Toledo on June 1, 1933, the son of Alonson Crandall and Viola Luella (Kiel) Hall. On July 16, 1960, he married Barbaradyne “Barbara” Grisier, and she survives. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served from 1957 – 1961. He was a graduate of Macomber High School and the University of Toledo.
Surviving is his wife, Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Lois, John, Thomas, and Fred. He was also preceded in death by many nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be private in the Mausoleum at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
