Anthony Michael Higgins, age 39, of Fayette, passed away on November 1, 2020. Tony was born on January 11, 1981 in Wauseon, to Terry and Felicia Higgins. Tony graduated from Gorham-Fayette High School with the Class of 1999 and later attended Trine University in Angola, Indiana.
He was employed as an Engineer with Sanoh America and Martin Sprocket & Gear before his passing. Tony enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid sports fan with the Michigan Wolverines football, Minnesota Vikings football and the North Carolina Tarheels basketball team being his favorites.
Tony could often be found watching a sports game on TV with his family and friends. He enjoyed working out, playing softball and he also competed in other athletic events. In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games and working on computers.
Tony is preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Mary Lou Wilson, Della Higgins, Marguerite Braun, Sylvan and Darlene Stockman and Ray Rumsey.
Left to cherish Tony’s memory is his mother, Felicia and Robert Stockman; father, Terry and Maggie Higgins; grandmother, Doris Rumsey; brother, Dustin (Amy Crawford) Higgins; sisters, Shosta (Daniel) Pupos and Stephanie (Joseph Grizzle) Bail, faithful canine companion, Mo; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be dearly missed by all of those who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Fayette. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and social distancing restrictions, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed to visit with the family at a time and masks are required. A private Funeral Service will be webcast on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Fayette with a public Burial Service to follow at Pleasant View Union Cemetery.
