April Unemployment Numbers Show Significant Improvement

According to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, the unemployment rate for Fulton County has decreased from 4.3% in March to 3.2% in April of 2023.

This is an improvement of 1.1%. This puts Fulton County at rank of 40 out of the 88 Ohio counties.


Williams County also saw great results with numbers being set at 3.5% in March and going down to 2.8% in April of 2023.

This is an improvement of 0.7%. This puts Williams County in 23rd place out of the 88 counties.

Unemployment for the entire United States and The State of Ohio also saw a decrease, although their numbers were not as significant.

Ohio decreased from 3.8% in March down to 3.7% in April and the U.S. saw a decrease from 3.5% to 3.4%.
