Arthur L. Perry, age 68, of Wauseon, peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side, Thursday afternoon, August 20, 2015 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. He was born in Toledo on October 29, 1946 to the late Guy Perry and Betty (Wittes) Perry who survives. On September 27, 1969 he married Kathy Keller at Shiloh Christian Union Church in Delta.
Arthur retired as a printer with Tomahawk Printing in Wauseon. After retiring he also served part time for the Fulton County Senior Center with the Meals on Wheels. Arthur was a Veteran having served during the Vietnam War with the U.S Army. He was a member of Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon, the Wauseon American Legion Post #265, VFW Post #7424 and was a proud member of the Fulton County Honor Guard.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Kathy Perry; daughter, Shawna (Brandon) Figy of Cottonwood, AZ; daughter by choice, Gina (Kory) Allen of Findlay; brother, Les Perry of Liberty Center; sister, Janet (Larry) Poling of Waterville, OH; grandchildren, Alex, Zach and Mackenzie Figy all of Cottonwood, AZ. In addition to his father, Arthur was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Perry.
Friends will be received on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Chapel in Delta. A funeral service for Arthur will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday in the chapel at Crossroads Evangelical Church, 845 E. Leggett St., Wauseon, Ohio 435567. Pastors Matt Boyer and Tyler Quillet will be officiating.
