Barbara Louise Merillat of Kalida, Ohio died at age 90 on June 15, 2016. Barb was born on December 29, 1925 of parents Lloyd and Marian Aldrich in Wayne, Michigan.
She has joined her husband Daniel of 70 years, their oldest son Fredrick Merillat, her brother Allen Avery Aldrich, and her parents in heaven.
Barb is survived by Dan (Donna) Merillat, Mrs. Charlie (Linda) Franks, and Mike Merillat. Dan and Barb have been blessed with 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Barb was the foundation of her family and enjoyed caring for her children and grandchildren over the years. She enjoyed sewing, painting and her family.
The family will be holding a private service for her. Donations can be made to the American Brain Tumor Association or a charity that is near and dear to your heart.
