PETTISVILLE – Pettisville scored all its runs over the first three innings as the Birds trimmed Stryker 16-5 in a five-inning Buckeye Border Conference game.
Macy Hoylman had a big day at the plate for Pettisville, collecting four hits, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Adi Genter had a pair of doubles, drove in three runs and scored three times.
Peityn Crosser smacked a triple, and Raegan Meyers doubled for Stryker (0-8, 0-5 BBC). Hoylman was also the winning pitcher, allowing just three hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
