FAYETTE – Montpelier remained perfect in Buckeye Border Conference action following its 16-2 victory over Fayette.

Maggie Jacob collected three hits, including a double and home run, and drove in two runs to lead the Locos (6-6, 4-0 BBC). Morgan Bechtol, Hanna Beck and Rowan Brown each had two hits.

Neriah Thorp was the winning pitcher for Montpelier with five strikeouts.
