DELTA – Swanton broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the top of the fifth inning as the Bulldogs stayed unbeaten in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League following their 3-1 victory over Delta.

Luke Marlow and Carsen Lemons both singled and drove in a run each for the Bulldogs (9-2, 3-0 NWOAL), who were held to just two hits.

Delta’s Carlos DeSantos accounted for both Panthers’ base hits, including a double. Gary Valentine drove in the lone run in the second inning for Delta (4-6, 0-4 NWOAL).

Carson Bond went the distance on the mound for Swanton with 10 strikeouts.
