BeeBz Coffee and Bake Shop held a ribbon cutting to celebrate their new restaurant. Located in Lyons, the ribbon cutting was held on Monday, April 10th at 125 North Adrian Street.

Many may recognize this address as the former home of Wolf It Down BBQ which has since moved to its current location in Lyons.

BeeBz is a restaurant that offers several different kinds of food options. These items include fresh deli sandwiches made with ham, turkey, roast beef, chicken salad, and tuna salad with different kinds of cheeses and on a variety of breads.

Cole slaw and potato salad from Wolf It Down BBQ is also available as well as chips, pops, fresh muffins, various desserts, cake pops and ice cream.

Owner Lisa Przyojski moved to the local area around three and a half years ago and met co-owner Ben Poorman.

Lisa explained that, since then, Ben has introduced her to many people and has gotten to know the community.

He has also been a big help when it comes to starting and running the business due to his own experiences.

Lisa continued to explain that she hopes she will be able to give back to the community and that she would like to start different events that will be able to help in raising money for the community. At this point though, she is excited to see where the journey will take her.

“I am very excited and nervous at the same time. I left my job with Toledo Public Schools to do this and since then the community has been very overwhelming and supportive, especially the village.”

“It is really beyond belief just how well everything has been going now and I feel like we were really welcomed in with open arms,” said Przyojski.

Lisa also went on to explain that Wolf It Down has been a huge help and is one of their biggest supporters.

“I can’t thank them enough for their support. I also can’t thank my fiancé Ben enough. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be where I am today with this.”

“The kids here are wonderful as well and I truly couldn’t ask for a better staff.”
