A widespread technology outage early this morning has caused significant disruptions to global travel, emergency services, and businesses.
Major airlines such as Delta, American, and United experienced flight delays and cancellations, while 911 services, hospitals, and banks were also affected.
The outage was attributed to a glitch related to an update by technology firm CrowdStrike, which impacted Microsoft users and various businesses.
Although not a cyberattack, the outage highlighted the vulnerabilities of the global economy to software-related issues.
Locally in Northwest Ohio government offices were delayed in opening due to lack of computer access.
This is a developing story.
