Brian C. Sharp (1967 – 2017)

Brian C. Sharp, age 49, of Liberty Center, passed away at his home Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 2017 with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Toledo on April 10, 1967 to Charles Sharp and Nancy (Mann) Sharp.  Brian was a graduate of Springfield High School.  After graduating he joined the Marines where he served from 1986 – 1987.  On July 24, 2004 he married Madonna Griner at a ceremony in Tennessee.

Brian worked over 20 years with Independent Concrete and Pipe, before their closing and most recently as a fabricator with Bil-Jax Haulotte Group.  Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking and was often described as a perfectionist.  Along with other hobbies he was an avid University of Michigan fan.

Brian is survived by his wife of 12 years, Madonna; step-daughter, Jennifer Vogelsong of Bryan, OH; parents, Charles and Nancy Sharp; grandchildren, Jasmine, Blake, Bailey; sister, Robin (Richard) Friend of Liberty Center and niece, Emily Friend.  Brian was preceded in death by his step-son, Curtis Nofziger in 2001.

Friends will be received from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.  A funeral service celebrating Brian’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday also at the funeral home.  Pastor Robert Singer Jr. will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
