Bruce Stockman (1950 – 2024)

Bruce W. Stockman, age 73, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Bruce worked at the Ohio Art Company for 17 years and then worked in maintenance at Walmart for 16 years.

He was a US Navy veteran having served 1968-1970 on the USS Navarro and USS Cleveland. He was a life member of the AmVets in Bryan.

Bruce was an avid golfer, even getting a hole-in-one at Hillcrest Golf Course. He was also musically talented, playing both guitar and drums. He was in several bands when he was younger.

Bruce also enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting and going to corn hole tournaments with his son. Family and time with them were the most important things to Bruce.

Bruce W. Stockman was born on November 24, 1950 in Paulding County, Ohio, the son of Negley Junior and Violet C. (Saco) Stockman. He attended Fairview High School. He married Rosemary E. (Champion) on August 24, 1998, and she survives.

Bruce is also survived by his children, Sheri (Gary Schroeder) Watkins, of Pioneer, Dena (Justin) Siebenaler, of Edon, Bruce (Bobbie Tesch) Stockman, of Alvordton, Nicki (John) Christian, of Bryan and Jason (Jennifer Beard) Koch, of Napoleon; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Wanda Brown, of Pioneer and half-sisters, Kristi Meyer, of Bryan and Ann (Danny) Parker, of Celina, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel Stockman and stepdaughter Samantha Koch.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will begin immediately following with Pastor George Goller officiating. Military rites will follow the service.

Memorial contributions are requested to the family.
