The Buckeye Border Fellowship of Christian Athletes held their annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, September 23rd. The event took place at the Ironwood Golf Club in Wauseon.
Golfers from around the area gathered at the club to support a good cause. Every year, the organization raises extra funding, through the golf scramble and other means, to help cover the expenses of the FCA Camp and Campus Ministry expenses.
The goal for this year has been to raise $15,000, which is a difficult undertaking, but is possible through the help the organization’s donors offer.

The event has been taking place for around 17 years now and experienced one of its best years yet in 2023.
All 20 of the available team slots were filled for this year, with opportunities even being accepted for things like sponsor a hole and donations for prizes.
The event went really well this year with many of the golfers expressing their happiness with the event. FCA Board Member Mike Colon also expressed his happiness for the event this year.
“This is fantastic, especially with having this kind of turnout this year. Getting all the supporters together in one spot is also nice and it’s always good when we have a good day for this.”
