Carl H. Perkins, 76, of Fayette, died early Saturday morning, July 6, 2013, at CHP Inpatient Hospice in Defiance, OH. He was born July 23, 1936, in Catlettsburg, KY, to the late Clarence and Hazel (Nichols) Perkins. He married Anna Louise Thornburgh on May 9, 1959, in Angola, IN, and she survives.
Surviving Carl in addition to his wife, Anna, are two sons, Thomas Ray Perkins of Fayette, and Carl H. (Carol) Perkins, Jr. of Archbold, OH; a daughter, Rosell Perkins of Fayette; a sister, Mary (Fred) Kelley of Oak Harbor, OH; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Perkins; and two sisters, Stella Walley and Vergie Dishman.
In accordance with Carl’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Interment will take place at a later date at the Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette.
